ANYWAY:

when i hear the name "NEMO", i used to think of 2 things.

1. Finding Nemo (obviously)

and
2. The catering manager's name at my wedding place

Well after this past week, now its 3.
3. Stupid snow storm that was way over hyped for new jersey.
    -okay, so i can't really speak on behalf of the entire state of new jersey. i really don't know what the snow was like above the ocean county line.  all i know is that i only got 5 inches of snow at the jersey shore and nemo didn't stop me from finding the buy of my lifetime and a night out for my husband's birthday!

what is this buy of a lifetime i speak of? well i will sit right down and tell you.

i was in search for a LBD to go out in Atlantic City this past weekend.  i went to every store in woodbridge mall and came up with nothing.  i did see a cute dress in JCP but it was in a medium and just way to big on me.  i didn't know the price, but i do know that it was in the clearance section. oh well.

so i really hate shopping the day of an event. but i did it anyway. i went to the mall at 10:00 when they opened and sat in my car hoping someone else would enter before me. 1. i looked hideous and 2. i didn't want to be THAT person who is so desperate to go shopping that she shows up opening time on the dot looking hideous post snowstorm. so thankfully someone entered and i got out of my car and scurried across the parking lot. (scurried is a fitting word considering my ratty appearance).

i searched high and low in JCP for this stupid dress. i finally had to ask a worker where the dress section was. upstairs. really? when did that change? anyway, i was SLOWLY looking through the dress section (as if that was going to give me any advantage) and I FOUND THE DRESS. IN A SMALL! oh the planets were aligned for me this morning! 12.00. TWELVE DOLLARS PEOPLE!! but WAIT. it gets BETTER. I just so happened to have a $10.00 cash coupon (from signing up for their store credit card ages ago) that was due to expire end of February. so i paid TWO FREAKING DOLLARS for this gem of a dress. i couldn't have been more happy.

then i had it in my head that i needed red shoes. i wanted the suede kind because red heels in patent leather look hookery. i walked the entire mall (in my ratty appearance) and didn't find anything. well, macy's had cute ones (cherry red) but were out of my size. boo :(

so there is a GIANT-MEGA marshalls across the street. i went there, nothing in the regular section, but they just so happened to have a SIZE 6, maroonyish SUEDE NINE WEST PUMP. oh my lordddddd was I EXCITED. then i turn the shoe over, and was jumping for joy in the middle of the aisle becuse they were only 17.00. SEVENTEEN DOLLARS PEOPLE!! i mean. seriously? how could i not take them!

i went to Atlantic City, dressed to the 9's for the price of 19.00. SCORE!!

and I won 12.00 on a Mr. Cashman slot machine. yay.

i really can clean up well, can't i??? :)

OH. and did i mention me and Rachel karaoked?


i don't know why its so HUGE, but if you want a serious laugh just watch. and keep an eye out for my bow-legged knees :) and my arm movements. i know -- you don't have to tell me,  i'm seriously awesome.
