did you know that it was really cold this morning?
oh you didn't? well then allow me to notify you what i am currently reading on my fb newsfeed and instagram reel via screen shots:
people. stop. we all drove to work this morning, or got the newspaper outside, or went to get coffee...most of us stepped outside to do something this morning. we all know it's cold. is it seriously necessary to post stupid stuff like this? no. it's not. but since i was bombarded with stupid shit like this, i'm passing it on to you.

This is what happens when we have one mild winter, and then people forget how cold it is supposed to be in the Northeast.
ReplyDeleteI would like to hide in a blanket at work, though. Not to stay warm, just to hide from co-workers.
My favorite is when my co-workers come in from outside and say, "brr, it's so cold out there!" multiple times per day, and then, at the end of the day, put their super puffy coat on, and ask, "I wonder if it's still cold out there?" Seriously? No, probably not. It's a heat wave! Maybe you could go outside and come back in, and then you can let me know, ok?
ReplyDeleteIt's only frustrating because that is the definition of our conversations in the winter. Every single day. Gotta love it!
I agree with Alissa - we had a really mild winter here in Nebraska last year, so it's like everyone has forgotten that the cold does happen, and so does snow - whether or not we like it.

ReplyDeleteHaha mine was full of 0 degrees again this morning. At least the wind chill isn't making it negative 15 again today since I need to get gas. For reals today too. LOL And since I live in the great state of Michigan, I have to GET MY OWN! :)
