so i woke up saturday morning with a storm brewing on my chin. thats right, a huge underground earthquake of a pimple, trying to make its way onto my face in NJ. now, i have been known to be a bit obsessed in situations like this, but i learned to work my way through these hard times. so the new me, decided to put some proactive on that spot, and hang out indoors all day.
i got a call from my best friend that night, in tears at Santacon-NYC because she was having an awful time. I live two hours from nyc, but she had already been walking ALONE! to penn station, so i said if you are really going home, i'll come pick you up (at the local train station from our hometown) and we can hang out at my moms for the night. i picked her up, pimple brewing in all it's glory, and we decided to stay in, drink, eat smelly popcorn, and play Disney Scene It!. one of the BEST GAMES EVER.
it's sunday morning, and i look in the mirror, and the quake is about to rumble! i was so thrilled that i couldn't help myself from touching it. and touching it some more, and more...about 20 minutes worth (what a great picture i just painted for you there). did this help me? absolutely not. if you can imagine a normal earthquake, minimal damage, this was equivalent to the earthquake in the movie 2012!
a complete disaster.
i really contemplated calling out of work today, for fear of embarassment. but luckily, since its the week before Christmas break, it's pretty quiet. i slabbed on some concealer and it doesn't look to bad.
i guess i'll deal with it.
oh i'm charming, aren't i?
there you have it, my weekend update consisting of nothing of importance but a giant, red pimple.
